We want to repurpose old sails into other useful items, continuing their adventures and keeping them out of landfill.
Modern sails - whilst being efficient and technologically advanced offering strength, speed and durability for yachts - are no longer made from natural fibres.
Once they’ve reached their Sailed By Date these non-biodegradable items head for landfill where they remain for the foreseeable future.
How to Donate:
CURRENTLY ST SAIL STORAGE FACITIY IS CLOSED - We have run out of storage space whist they wait to be up-cycled.
PLEASE LOOK AT THE RE-SAIL BY CLEAN SAILORS WEBSITE FOR ALTERNATIVE LOCATIONS TO DROP YOUR SAIL OFF.
