Well, it’s been great first couple of months for Baggywrinkles!

Ullman Sails in Plymouth have donated all their Beyond Repair Sailed By Date sails for up-cycling into bags and other items in a bid to keep used sails out of landfill - Thank you Ullman!

Some of these sails were up-cycled into bags for Tamar Valley Pre-school’s Christmas Fair.
I’ve been lucky enough to have made some really great contacts in the Tamar Valley who have been keeping me busy over the first part of the winter.

Special mentions to Calstock Boatyard and Weir Quay Boatyard both bordering the River Tamar, one on the Devon side and one on the Cornwall side with two great Boatyard Cafe’s, now both stocking a range of up-cycled sailcloth bags - worth a visit for good cake, coffee up-cycled local products and a good excuse to have a look round the yard!
The members of Cargreen Yacht Club have also been keeping me busy all winter with canvas cover repairs, cockpit cushions and re-covering interior boat cushions.
